My appointment with Cedar, hands down, has been the best experience I've had in a long time. I went in for a donation cut and from start to finish I felt attended to and treated respectfully. She was aware that I don't use styling product and don't really like using heat for styling my hair. She honored that! Something I really appreciated from her. My cut was perfect and flows very naturally. Thank you so much Cedar!!!
I went to AK lounge today for a cut and style. I saw Cedar and she was awesome. I loved how she explained every step and product that she was using! She was very gentle a listened really well to my wants/needs. I asked her to braid my hair at the end and she hands down has been the best!
I couldn’t get into my regular stylist for color, cut and Brazilian Blowout. After reading many reviews I decided to try AK LOUNGE. It was easy to schedule. I was asked to send a photo that reflected my current color and hair texture so that I could be assigned to the most appropriate stylist. I have grey curly, easy to frizz hair and am growing out a short many layered cut. I had the great good fortune to be scheduled with Ceder Gray! She is very knowledgeable and skilled and has a wonderful disposition. A lovely human who takes true interest in her clients. Ceder took the time to Google photos of the hair color and style I was going for . She very carefully mixed my color and applied it in a very methodical way. I LOVE my color! Cedar then did my Brazilian Blowout. The salon is very well ventilated and they use a special blow drier that operates like a vacuum for your hair reducing the usual chemical smell. Crazy right! Ceder then applied a masque and cut my hair. She was very precise and cleaned up my layers beautifully. I couldn’t be more pleased with my hair - the color, cut and smoothness. And I left the salon thinking how lucky I was to have spent an evening with such a lovely person.
I had not had my hair worked on in years and never really looked forward to it either. Cedar was very kind, listened to what I might want, made wonderful suggestions, and gave me a look that I did not believe was possible for me. I now look forward to future sessions and feel I have found a stylist I can trust. Thank you so much Cedar.
